New To Our Church?

  • What can I expect from S.S. Morris Community AME Church?

S.S. Morris Community AME Church has been serving and sharing the love of Christ in our community since 1986. We are a community of Christians, created in God's image and called as Christ's disciples to proclaim the Good News to all people by studying His Word, listening, praying, and actively reaching out to our communities. Because of this, we are committed to sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples. We endeavor to live our lives as examples of God's grace and love. When you join us for worship, you can expect to engage with a church family that will encourage and equip you to grow in your faith. From the youngest to the oldest, there is a place for you here!

"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” -Matthew 28:18-20

  • Can I request prayer online?

Absolutely! Our church would love to be able to pray for you. When you click on the "Submit a Prayer Request" button in the bottom right-hand corner of the website, you will be directed to our convenient Prayer Request contact form. With this form, you will be able to note whether you would like to keep your request private, so that only church staff may see it- or public, so that more in the church may pray for you. If you are looking for a church to call home, we hope you will join us here at S.S. Morris!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:6-7

  • How can I support the church?

If you would like to make a monetary donation in support of our church, you can do so quickly and securely from right here on our website! You can click the donate button on the home screen and choose either Givelify or Cashapp. Here, you can donate a gift using whichever payment method you prefer. If you would like, you are also able to make your donation a recurring gift.

If you would rather give with a physical check or money order, stop by the church at 3511 Milwaukee St, Madison, WI 53714 or send us a message today for more information.

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." -Malachi 3:10

  • What is the best way to contact the church?
